As low pressure moves through the region snow showers will mix with rain showers this morning and then end about mid-day. Watch for an additional slushy accumulation, especially on elevated surfaces as well as areas that are shaded from the sun. Any snow will eventually melt off the pavement during the day.
Dry weather is expected for the rest of the week and into the weekend. A new system may bring some rain late Sunday but more likely into early next week.
It will turn warmer with highs rising in the 50’s and lows climbing into the lower 40’s. Colder air returns about the middle of next week.
